Business Analyst -Agile / Software Development / ISEB

Business Analyst -Agile / Software Development / ISEB required by a Magic Circle Law Firm based in its prestigious Central London offices. This role has become available following a period of sustained investment in new technology. As a Business Analyst -Agile / Software Development / ISEB you will be joining a Company regarded as one of the most prestigious Law Firms in the world and with an enviable Client-base of some of the most high-profile House-hold names in the UK currently.

As a Business Analyst you will sit within the Technology department but will work as a key member of the cross functional teams. You will be responsible for a variety of bleeding edge projects from beginning to end. Your role will involve business analysis at every stage, including but not limited to: requirements definition (defining analysing, documenting and interpreting business requirements), market evaluation, selection, configuration, training, testing, implementation, change management, and post-implementation road-mapping and review.

Essential Skills of the Business Analyst -Agile / Software Development / ISEB:

  • Proven track record of delivering a high standard of business analysis service in a Law Firm or similar Professional Services environment.
  • Experience of working on IT projects, covering the full software development lifecycle.
  • Understanding and experience of a variety of project management methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Visio.
  • Experience of effectively eliciting requirements from a variety of audiences.
  • Experience of requirements management, including documentation, assimilation, and translating requirements into tender documents.
  • Experience of generating and collating accurate documentation.
  • Strong data analysis and mapping skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft products and/or legal software.
  • BA accreditation by either BCS BA Diploma or IIBA CBAP.
  • Experience of dealing with external stake-holders.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with the key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience).
