Business Analyst Agile Software House - Full SDLC
The Business Analyst will join a well-established software development company that is now committed to formalising the way in which requirements reach their product backlog. To begin formalising requirement definition they are hiring a Business Analyst capable of owning requirements both within a specific workstream and across high-demand projects or urgent feature builds as and when they arise.
Working closely with the CTO the Business Analyst will help create standards for how requirements are gathered, challenged and documented including user acceptance criteria and entry into the product backlog. The Business Analyst will then go on to work with the Scrum team to ensure new features and products meet acceptance criteria, acting as the "voice of the user" within the Agile process. As the role progresses we'd like the systems and processes you establish for requirement gathering and documentation to make their way into all our workstreams, something we hope the Business Analyst will be able to take an active part in implementing.
What we need from the Business Analyst:
First and foremost the Business Analyst will be experienced and comfortable with gathering, defining and documenting requirements for the creation of software in an Agile environment. This role is highly responsible and sits within a small very collaborative, supportive team. It is essential the Business Analyst will have prior experience in a similar environment or at least show the ability to empathise with one.
You'll need to be a strong business communicator able to clearly relay technical capabilities to business teams and business needs to technical teams. You'll be adept at balancing priorities, pushing back confidently but sensitively where necessary and ensuring all parties are kept informed and updated.
If you want to be part of a global leader and have full autonomy and responsibility in the Business Analysis function then apply now!!
Due to a high volume of applications we regret that we are unable to reply to every applicant personally.
