Informa Business Intelligence (BI), currently has a newly created opportunity for a highly experienced Business Analyst to join our London office. You will be working on our market leading Insight Products, including Lloyd’s List, The Pink Sheet and Scrip, as we make major investments to grow our products and develop new solutions. Focusing around our strategic product and marketing platforms the Business Analyst will help BI bridge the gap between commercial needs and technical needs whilst ensuring we are meeting business objectives and goals.

You will report into the Business Analyst Manager for BI Insight Products and will be responsible for analysing our technical solutions to ensure that they meet with business and commercial goals, creating assessments and recommendations and ultimately suggesting alternative solutions where appropriate in both procedures and technology.
-Write and review requirements, user cases, user stories, specifications and test cases and ensure that they are unambiguous, consistent, valid and testable
-Work closely with product management, product development, marketing, content teams and others to ensure successful implementation of product features
-Attend requirement sessions; capture, analyse and maintain functional and non-functional requirements
-Contribute to testing and QA processes; ensure coverage and completeness of test cases and alignment with requirements
-Model processes using appropriate notations and tools
-Review and analyse project and operations processes, rules and procedures; recommend improvements and suggest new ones as needed; establish operational standards and best practices
-Develop information architectures and provide support to various data ETL operations
-Develop training materials; create and maintain guides and document repositories
-Significant Business Analyst experience, preferably within a B2B/information services company
-Experience working with the Agile methodology
-Experience developing a deep understanding of customer requirements, bridging the gap between problem and solution, and translating that knowledge into clear and meaningful use cases and user stories
-A track record of collaborating with various stakeholders in both project and operation settings
-Understanding of CMS and editorial workflow systems; experience in Sitecore is preferred
-Understanding of Email Marketing, Identity and Entitlement solutions
-Experience using issue tracking and TCM tools; JIRA, Confluence and TestRail are preferred
-Experience using various modelling tools, techniques and notations includinguse cases, activity diagrams, BPMN, etc
-A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
