Change Manager

A highly established organisation are looking to recruit a Change Manager to help with complex business change

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a highly regarded and well established organisation who are in a period of large scale business change and digital transformation.

The purpose of this position is to take responsibility for leading and coordinating change and engagement activities to ensure the smooth transition from the existing ways of working to the new business model, and ensure that the business areas are thoroughly prepared for the transition. You will generate positive engagement and feedback from stakeholders about the IT final operating capability, responsibility for staff engagement and coordinating the realisation of the benefits of the new ways of working and embed the new capabilities into business operations. You will be helping managers support their staff through what is a significant programme of change.

You will be expected to work independently under the direction of the IT Programme Manager to optimise the timing of the release of project deliverables into business operations. You will liaise with the IT Business Manager, heads of service pillars, and local business change managers to implement the transformational changes. You will take responsibility for assessing the stability, readiness and the capacity of the business to ensure they are able to cope with the proposed changes, then working closely with teams to ensure the business is fully prepared and that the deliverables are successfully integrated to ensure business stability is maintained.

You will coordinate the implementation of new business processes then make recommendations to mitigate change risks and business impact. You will initiate business reviews to ensure that capabilities are being embedded and established.

In order to be successful for this role you will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to ensure effective communication and engagement activities with all areas of the business. You must have a track record of delivering effective outcomes in complex, large scale, and business wide business change initiatives. Ideally you will be Prince certified with a background in delivering training and staff development strategies.
