This exciting role, based in central Cambridge is to join a small team of creative problem solvers, strong in maths and visual thinking. Their goal is to make advanced geometric software applications easy and enjoyable to use, by adding intelligence to 3D modelling. The role offers substantial technical and creative challenges due to its visual and spatial nature.
Within the team, each individual enjoys full participation in the top to bottom design and implementation of a project, while discussing and solving problems within the team - working collaboratively both locally and around the globe. They offer a relaxed and flexible working atmosphere in a modern office with superb public transport links, and good social activities.
The role calls for a very strong academic record (2.1 / 1st in Maths, Physics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Science, Engineering or similar) along with proven creative problem solving skills and good hands-on coding fluency - in C, C++ or similar.
Depending on your career stage, useful experience might also include:
• A solid knowledge of Software development processes, from design through to coding and testing.
• Deeper knowledge and experience of any particular programming languages.
• Maths, Algorithm design, Geometry, Graphics, CAD, Geometric modelling, Artificial intelligence, Scientific software
