As a Desktop Support Engineer you will be responsible for delivering 1st and 2nd line solutions to technical faults and user enquiries. You may also occasionally be required to work from or support our other offices, in line with business or support needs.
You will need to approach problems enthusiastically and creatively, ensuring you apply technical and commercial experience in a positive way. You will approach your area of responsibility from both a technical and user’s viewpoint, working in line with the standards and working practices established within the IT group. Your aims should be to improve the end users technical familiarity and their productivity. From time to time, you will contribute to project deliverables within the function and develop your own experience and technical understanding in doing so.
This is a permanent job opportunity based in London working Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm. Some weekend and out-of-hours and bank holiday attendance is required for which time off in lieu or overtime will be provided.

We are looking for a highly experienced and client focused hands on Desktop Support Engineer with extensive experience and thorough understanding of support within an IT business environment. You will be skilled in resolving software/hardware, connectivity and application issues within the Windows 7 (primarily) and Windows 10 (desirable) platform. You will be experienced in Printer Support and Configuration and have a good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, MS Office applications – all versions, Microsoft Outlook installation and configuration.
