Development Manager - SaaS
Berkshire: Reading, Bracknell, Newbury area
Salary: Circa £75,000+ Benefits + Bonus (based on experience)

An experienced and passionate Development Manager with a proven background in technical and people management is required by a leading software provider. Strong technical skills in Microsoft technologies are essential with the ideal candidates having strong C#, ASP.Net, MVC and SQL Server knowledge.

You will be managing a large development and QA team working on a number of large and complex products. The Development Manager is pivotal in deciding the technical strategy, and people/team management, working closely with the COO and CTO in shaping the future of the business.

The company are well established and have grown consistently for a number of years. The role offers the ability to make a genuine impact on the business and take leadership of the development function in implement new technologies and best practices.


  • Current technical team management experience, ideally leading technical teams of 10+
  • Must have a strong commercial understanding of C#, ASP.Net, MVC, WebForms
  • Must have strong Leadership, management and mentoring skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable liaising with senior members of management
  • An excellent communicator, able to bridge the gap between the business and technical teams
  • Strong understanding of AGILE best practice, ideally having implemented it into a development teams previously.


  • Will have worked for a SaaS provider previously
  • Strong and current MS.Net/C# development skills
