What you will be doing for the Digital Analyst - 6 month Fixed Term (Analyst)

As Senior Digital Architect you will have responsibilities covering a variety of areas: data integrity, project development, configuration building, configuration testing, strategic insight, process ownership, and analytics availability.

The core of your role will be working with the other architects and analysts in the wider digital analytics team.

You will have responsibility (alongside the other architects) for preparing the analytics systems to be set up for website developments, whilst also ensuring those systems are continuously optimised for use by analysts, through on-going configuration building and testing.

On the project development side, you will be required to work alongside the agile scrum and IT teams, to ensure analytics requirements are delivered by design, implementation, validation, and eventual evaluation of output.

This will involve participating within internal project teams and working with internal stakeholders to deliver the aforementioned requirements into our analytics systems.
You will be responsible for assisting in the design, testing, and implementation of analytics tags through use of a tag management solution.

Aside to project-related activity, you will take on the responsibility of being the ‘Guardian of the data’ we hold across our analytics platform. This will require you taking ownership of the creation and execution of data integrity processes, to ensure that the data used by the business is accurate and not misleading.

As our business becomes more digitally driven than ever, you will be responsible for helping drive such an agenda, through assisting in, and owning various business projects from the digital analytics team’s viewpoint.

These projects will range from the creation of dynamic dashboards to showcase and democratise the data we hold, to exploring new and emerging areas such as app and retail analytics.

In regards to strategic insight, you will be required to support the analytics team in understanding how to measure the commercial impact of new sites launched, and how to go about assessing how customers interact with emerging platforms, such as the two apps we currently have on the market for our two main brands (Thomson and First Choice).

This educational requirement will become a recurring theme across the majority of the work that is expected of you in this role.
