Embedded C Developer / Senior Software Engineer (Linux C++ Java Python ZigBee Z-Wave Agile TDD). Pioneering smart-energy technology leader is seeking a skilled Senior Embedded C Developer to join an expanding Embedded Team. You will design and develop new features and functions for the core system firmware.
As a Senior Embedded C Developer you will utilise embedded C on Linux to deliver key components for the flagship IoT product. Based in Cambridge, this is an Agile team environment, that offers excellent career progression opportunities as this team is expected to grow massively to meet rising demand.
Requirements for a Senior Embedded C Developer / Software Engineer:
• Strong experience of embedded C on Linux
• Good understanding of Java and Python programming
• Linux kernel development experience
• Agile, Test Driven Development working experience
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Degree educated in Computer Science or a closely related subject
• Desirable: C++, ZigBee, Z-wave
