Your new role
As a result of continued growth, significant investment and a plan to further expand their product suite, an opportunity has become available for an Embedded C Developer to join the product engineering team on a permanent basis. Within this exceptional opportunity, you will be engaged within multinational development teams, in the implementation of new products solutions that will be utilised by thousands of users worldwide.
You will be involved with all the design and development tasks that this medium Agile Dev team are undertaking - taking the lead on projects (where applicable) and product development, whilst encouraging an environment of best practices and the use of the latest/current technologies.

What you'll need to succeed
You must possess strong attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to be both proactive and autonomous, whilst contributing to a high performing team. Coupled with the following skills, knowledge & attributes:

  • Strong knowledge of object orientated design and methodologies
  • Solid understanding of Agile principles of software development
  • Experience in the development of embedded systems in a Linux environment (ARM/Intel)
  • Experience of developing Linux kernel drivers
  • C++/C programming language experience
  • Collaborative approach, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
  • Effective communication skills, across a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, project teams, support teams and vendors
  • Ability to simply and clearly explain complex ideas
