Our client a global leading manufacturing organization, based in the South Coast are looking to hire a talented Global EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Technical Analyst. You will be joining an established Information Systems team, situated in Fareham.

IBM Sterling Commerce Suite - B2B integration, SFG, SBI, Map editor
Languages - QSS, BPML, XPath, Java, XML, SQL
EDI communication / security - AS2/3, SFTP, FTP, HTTPS, SSL
Network infrastructure - TCP/IP
Desktop software - Microsoft Office suite, Ultra, WinZip
Relevant College diploma/University degree
As the successful Global EDI Technical Analyst, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting the communication and message translation of our clients application software. You will act as a key contact for the Application Support team, who maintain level 3 operations.
You should have experience in working with ISM Sterling Commerce software packages (Sterling File Gateway, Quick Start Services, Sterling Business Integrator); specifically conducting tests, migration, implementation and configuration.
You will take accountability of business processes and systems, working to utilise and suggest improvements of service desk and change management procedures.
EDI mapping and implementation experience highly advantageous. This role would require after hours/on call support.
