Helpdesk Support Engineer – Microsoft Windows


Helpdesk Support Engineer (Microsoft Windows Network Citrix Cisco). Bright, highly skilled Helpdesk Support Engineer sought by leading brewery based in West London. This is a varied and interesting position which will include 1st to 3rd line helpdesk support of 150 users as well as 600 internal users (incident ownership) and the head office IT infrastructure (including Windows XP / 7, Exchange, Active Directory, Network Security, Telecoms).

As a Helpdesk Support Engineer you will be working as part of a small, friendly team on a weekly rota that covers 0730-2100 (37.5 hour week) and on call support one in four weekends which can be claimed back in lieu. Offices based in West London, driving license required as you may need to visit remote sites (in London / South East) occasionally.

Requirements:

• Strong PC / Hardware Troubleshooting skills
• Deep knowledge of Windows Operating Systems: XP/ 7
• MS Office 2010, Exchange 2010
• Working knowledge of Active Directory
• Knowledge of DHCP, WINS, DNS
• Network Security Fundamentals
• Citrix
• Telecoms Support (VOIP, Cisco Routers, BES)
• LANDesk Administration
• Excellent communication skills, able to build strong working relationships, customer focussed
• Degree educated, 2.1 or above
