You will join TUI on our Apprenticeship Scheme - at the end of 3 years you will reach the end of a Level 4 Apprenticeship linked to the specific role we are recruiting for.

We are recruiting for:

1 x IT Commercial Apprentice
Reporting to the IT Commercial Planning Manager, the IT Commercial Apprentice will support the management and control of supplier contracts, run commercial processes and provide Commercial MI to key stakeholders.

2 x Technical Support Apprentices
The role of the Technical Support Apprentice is the coordination, management and delivery of support within the IT Technical Support remit; the main purpose is to deliver desktop, server & telephony support within the designated business areas.

What the IT Apprentice (Support, IT Vacancies) Will Be Doing

IT Commercial Apprentice

Supplier Management
• Manage work requests (IMAC) to ensure cost effective, efficient and timely provision of changes. Operate the procedures used to procure services, equipment and resources from the suppliers.
• Support the management of suppliers within the agreed Governance framework, including documenting actions and following up to ensure delivery of commitments.
• Monitor the delivery of appropriate reporting (against SLAs, BBS, OLAs as appropriate) to support the Governance framework and follow up actions identified through reporting.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure correct financial and procurement processes are followed. Ensure accurate recording of all spend to provide timely reporting.

Commercial Management
• Maintain and report key commercial metrics to stakeholders.
• Manage elements of the commercial relationship with the suppliers including billing, savings and change. Record costs savings, cost avoidance and improved terms and conditions.

Technical Support Apprentice
• You will work closely with the Technical Support Analysts to ensure that all hardware and software, inclusive of telephony equipment, within the designated business area is fit for purpose and complies with TUI UK & Ireland standards and security policies.
• You will work closely with the Technical Support Analysts to assist with the coordination of assigned projects whilst working in conjunction with the Technical Services Team, Network vendors and 3rd party support vendors.
• Coordination and management for all installations of new offices when required along with the decommissioning of old locations.
• Coordination and management for all installations relating to hardware refresh where equipment leases have expired. This will also undertake the management of IT equipment audits throughout the estate and the collection of redundant equipment when required.
• Administration of Server rooms in designated areas of the business.
• Maintenance of all related office records and technical environment documentation and contact lists.
• Working closely with the Technical Support Analyst’s to manage and support applications specific to your business area.
• Ensure all related office data is backed up, secure and the TUI UK & Ireland security policy is adhered to.
• Ensure minimum disruption to production systems within TUI UK & Ireland designated sites.
