IT Service Desk Manager - Excellent career progression!
Service Desk Manager required to join growing IT Service provider in Warrington ASAP. This position will suit a Senior IT Engineer with experience of leading a team, and who is looking to progress their career within a fast paced technical environment.
The role will be technically diverse, and the company offers an autonomous working environment. Day-to-day, you will be involved in supporting the company's clients to make sure the effective running of their business and its IT systems. You will champion the 1st and 2nd line team and act as a senior escalation point. You will ensure the achievement of targeted KPIs and manage a resolution according to agreed SLAs. You will report directly to the IT manager, although this is a team lead role you need to be 80% hands on.
The organisation are going through a period of growth where they have had a number of internal promotions, which has left a gap for a new motivated team leader to come on board.
Technical Skills Required
** MS terminal Services / remote Desktop Services
** MS Exchange 2010 / 2013
** Active Directory Group Policy
** Network LAN WAN VPN
** Virtualisation VMware or Hyper-V
** Windows Sever 2008R2 and 2012R2
** Experienced in a Managed service provider in a fast paced environment.
** Experience leading a technical team
