IT Service Manager

An exciting contract opportunity for an IT Service Manager to join our Global Defence Client. THe IT service manager is part of a dedicated team reporting directly into the Head of Live Services, representing the senior government customer within a SIAM delivery model. The jobholder will promote the interests of the customer's business into live services and have a close understanding of the business drivers, fostering strong relationships in both directions. This will be a pivotal role in building and maintaining a confident operational relationship between IT and the business.

Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance.

  • ITIL (v3) Foundation Accreditation - minimum (red badge preferred)
  • Knowledge/experience of large government and/or geographically-dispersed organisations
  • (SFIA) framework at the following levels;
    • IT operations - level 4
    • IT management - level 4
    • Service level management - level 5/6
  • Experience in a similar role for a minimum of 5 years
  • Good general knowledge of IT systems and networks
