A public sector organisation that has sites all across the UK are keen to appoint an IT Support Manager for a brand new role within the organisation.
Your new role
The IT Support Manager will ensure the smooth delivery of IT Service through the management and delivery of an IT Support function including; supervision and management of the IT team, providing reporting and guidance to senior stakeholders and playing a key part in the strategic direction of the way this organisation uses Information Technology.
You will be responsible for the planning and monitoring of the teams workloads, documenting, reviewing and enhancing SLA's as well as reporting on key performance indicators.
This role will also see you assisting the IT director develop an on-going strategy for the service desk and the overall IT estate.
What you'll need to succeed
Your people skills along with your ability to supervise, manage and lead will be key in your success in this role along with your ability to provide clear strategic direction for the IT team.
Experience of working in a support team and having a excellent understanding of IT estates will also put you in a good position for this role.
What you'll get in return
