Remedy Senior Administrator



We are hiring a Remedy Senior Administrator to support a major Government programme from our location in Central London.


This is a permanent position and SC clearance is required to commence the role.

Leidos is developing its Information and Communications Technology (ICT) presence in the UK. It has ambitions to bid for, win and execute a number of major UK Government ICT programmes.

It is currently executing a major Civil Government service provider ICT programme, a key element of this programme involves the introduction of and transition to a Leidos Service Integration and Management (SIAM) function. This function will be responsible for the Service Management of the ICT estate for a major Civil Government Department.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY


Duties include:

  • Supporting the BMC ITSM suites of application
  • Support the Remedy system across multiple environments
  • Attend to user requests and provide solution to user issues with agreed service targets
  • Support and maintain custom solutions deployed into the environment.
  • Map solution features to business requirements and collaborate with the service process owners to ensure acceptance of the resulting solution.
  • Perform analyses of user issues and make recommendations on the solutions to Remedy and related components
  • Perform required check to ensure that the system is ready for operations
  • De-code common Remedy error messages and troubleshooting Remedy server related issues


PROFILE


Required Skill:

  • Good understanding of the BMC Remedy AR system Server v7.x/8.x
  • Experience building, testing, and maintaining solutions in the BMC Remedy 7.x/8.x ITSM
  • Experience configuring BMC Remedy out-of-the-box options and building custom solutions
  • Understanding of integration capabilities of the BMC ITSM Suite with third party solutions
  • Familiar with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations
  • Understanding of ADDM and integrating with the Atrium CMDB
  • Experience implementing APM and interfacing with the Remedy ITSM


Desired Skills

  • Experience integrating with Active Directory, including federated authentication and Single Sign-On
  • Experience working in a Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012 environment
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with VMware or other virtualised environments
  • Experience working in a community cloud environment
