Support Engineer


Fast-paced Tech Ops role at AlphaSights' Global HQ in London. We are looking for a tech-savvy support engineer to join our hyper-responsive, client-driven team.


AlphaSights is looking for a proactive and driven individual to join the Operations Team. We are a digital business where continuous uptime and smooth IT experience is central to our successful operations. The role of IT Support Engineer therefore represents a visible and valued opportunity for the right candidate to have an immediate impact in the London Office.

Configure and deploy IT hardware internally, including: VoIP phones, Macbooks, and mobile phones
Set up and manage user subscriptions and accounts
Design and conduct technical training for the team
Troubleshoot IT issues in person and remotely, including helpdesk operations and deskside support
Support both our proprietary and third party software applications
Collaborate with global HR colleagues to ensure that all transferees, visitors and new joiners integrate seamlessly
Provision and maintain meeting room audio visual hardware for conference calls and video conferencing
Maintain the company IT hardware asset register, monitoring and ordering stock
Source, vet, and manage third party vendors
Project manage new technology roll-outs
Test and monitor IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance


2+ years of relevant experience providing in-house IT support, or in similar roles e.g. such Apple Genius, helpdesk support, or other customer service roles
Excellent understanding of computer hardware, networking, OS X and Google Apps
Fluency in English
Bachelor’s Degree
