Service Desk Manager


I am currently recruiting for a Service Desk Manager to work for a prestigious governing body. This role is a mixture of Infrastructure support and Project Management, Service Delivery and managing the internal IT Service Desk.

Description

Service Desk Manager:

  • Manage the day to day operations of the IT Service Desk team, ensuring all incidents are resolved within SLA and to client satisfaction.
  • Working alongside the infrastructure team and managing a small Service Desk team to provide additional IT and telecoms support to all staff.
  • Regularly monitor the customers perception and satisfaction levels of the Service Desk experience identifying and implementing improvements
  • Responsible for ensuring service desk service level agreements are consistently met
  • Assisting the Head of IT in any projects they are involved in
  • Provide support, administration and maintenance for all corporate servers and telecoms.

Essential:

  • A broad 3rd Line support technical knowledge of hardware and software Experience in ITIL environment and ITIL foundation certified
  • Strong experience of technical troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Experience of managing, mentoring and developing of a technical support team
  • Experience of working with incident, service request and problem management processes
  • Supporting and installation of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 & Windows 7/10
  • Supporting and installation of Office 365 full suite (including Exchange and sharepoint online)
  • Supporting and installation of Intune and SCCM

Job Offer

Service Desk Manager:

£50,000 - £60,000 + benefits + bonus
