Salesforce is hiring a director for its Services division focussed on the successful delivery of our Cloud platform. We're looking for an experienced leader who has broad experience across all aspects of Salesforce and can demonstrate how you've built and lead technical specialty teams that help win, deliver and then package and publish best practices.
The candidate will be passionate about our technology, an evangelist/champion that promotes Salesforce's Cloud technology and "sells it" internally and externally.
Responsibilities include:
Build a business - collaborate with Sales leaders to drive design wins and platform adoption

Build and lead great teams - attract top technical talent to build high performing teams of consultants with superior technical depth, and outstanding customer relationship skills
Develop partnerships - proactively develop industry solution maps. Drive collaboration and integration between multiple partners to deliver comprehensive solutions for large enterprises
Learn and teach - build a team of leaders and technical specialists on our Cloud platform
Make new markets - develop the engagement model for driving the first wins for our Cloud platform in new customers/new market segments
Be a customer advocate - Work with our product teams to convey deep technical requirements from partners and customers as input to our technology roadmaps
Deliver value - lead high quality delivery with our partners in our enterprise customers across a variety of sectors, enabling breakthrough business outcomes for our customers and their employees

Basic qualifications:
Outstanding customer relationship management experience and collaboration skills
Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
Consulting practice leadership as a manager of managers with a team size of c.40 with related goals/KPI's
Deep understanding of Salesforce cloud platform
Highly strategic and analytical, possessing 10 or more years of relevant IT experience
BS level degree required, computer science, business or math background preferred

Travel
Domestic and international travel of up to 20% maybe essential
