A Software Developer / Software Engineer (CFD) is needed to join a championship winning F1 team based in Milton Keynes. Working within the Aerodynamics Department expect to use current software and modelling techniques to optimise work flows and interfaces that in a sport where every thousandths of a second count.

They are now seeking a Software Developer / Software Engineer (CFD) with a track record of engineering analysis to join their CFD Tools and Methods Team.
Joining as a Software Developer / Software Engineer (CFD) you will work on projects that push current software and modelling techniques in order to optimise CFD work flows and improving interfaces. Whether you are using your knowledge of turbulence modelling; finding solutions to difficult problems or working with Linux operating systems, you will play a vital role in ensuring workflows are optimised and automated.
To qualify... You should be a Software Developer / Software Engineer (CFD) / Interface Engineer / Python Developer / C++ Developer / CFD Engineer or similar with a CV that demonstrates:
- A degree level education and relevant experience of CFD analysis in industrial applications;
- A good knowledge of turbulence modelling;
- Strong programming skills and experience working with Linux operating systems and queuing systems to ensure workflows are optimal and automated;
- A natural ability to find solutions when faced with difficult problems.
Experience with CAD (in particular Siemens NX and NX Open development) would be advantageous as would any exposure or experience with one or more of the following, ANSA script / Python development, the ability to code with C/C++ and specifying and managing physical testing to drive correlation.
