My client is a privately owned national leading development organisation, that employs circa 500 people across multiple sites in the UK. The organisation has ambitious plans to expand over the next 5 years and is actively seeking a Software Development Project Manager to support the IT director with the sustained growth of their IT systems.
Your new role
As the Software Application Project Manager you will be take ownership and responsibility for Project Managing applications development from inception through to implementation. Strategic planning, prioritising and scheduling of development projects, creation of RFP's and manage third party suppliers. Whilst managing a small development team. The preferred candidate will have excellent stake holder management skills, as you will be required to deputise for the IT Director occasionally
What you'll need to succeed
As the preferred candidate you will be educated to Degree level, be a certified Prince 2 Practitioner and ITIL certified. You will have knowledge of business applications - CRM, Document Management, ERP, a good understanding of the software development life-cycle and experience of AGILE and Waterfall Methodologies. Experience of leading large scale development projects across multiple business units is essential.
What you'll get in return
This preferred candidate will receive a basic salary circa £70,000, car allowance circa £7,000, a generous pension contribution, 27 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and an annual bonus.
