Are you currently in Customer Service, Technical Management, Customer Journey or Technical support position? This opportunity, with a rapidly expanding Start Up, has the scope to evolve in several different and exciting directions.
In line with the company's rapid growth, we are looking for an exceptional Technical Manager who will own the customer journey. They will own the customer service in its entirety, working closely with the UK supply chain, service providers and channel partners and will be directly responsible for growing and improving the support and escalation process, whilst integrating existing systems and resources.
The successful Technical Manager will be responsible for documenting, tracking, and reporting trending issues as well as curating dedicated knowledge base content and focus on ensuring that customers have a positive experience. The Technical Manager will also triage with third party customer service teams, prioritising technical issues reactively and proactively.
Skills of the Technical Manager
*Someone who is passionate about the IoT concept and excited to work for a truly disruptive Big Data start up.
*Someone who understands and appreciates the importance of the customer journey.
*Knowledge of conventional to complex software and hardware issues (and an eagerness to learn the nuance of the platform).
*Familiarity of Java and C/C++.
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex issues to customers, internal stakeholders, support engineers, channel partners and third parties etc.
*Strong work ethic, with attention to detail and a willingness to go beyond expectations.
*Commitment to provide an unrivaled level of customer service.
Bonus points for the technical manager:
*Knowledge of ZigBee protocols
*Leadership experience in technical support management
*Supply chain/third party management experience.
