  • Generating reliable information (for example, data quality, mastering, governance)
  • Diagnostic analysis (for example, reconciling financial data to comply with regulation)
  • Value added analytics (for example, improving operational performance)
We work across the business in areas relating to customers, patients, citizens, workforce, finance, operations, supply chain, fraud, and, risk and regulation. In addition, we provide advisory services in the core capabilities of information management, management reporting and data science. Risk Analytics is an integral part of Deloitte's advisory capabilities, and our strategy enables individuals to work with our specialists in different areas across the business. Role descriptionAs a Senior Manager in our TMT team, you will:
  • Provide our clients with the information and insight they need to take the best decisions, improve their performance and minimise risk by leading projects and programmes ranging from advisory missions to technical assignments;
  • Engage with clients to understand in detail their specific needs;
  • Solve the challenge of integrating disparate sources of enterprise data and information to model and visualise our clients businesses and derive insight;
  • Design, develop and deliver solutions for reporting and analytics, potentially including cognitive and robotics;
  • Have the opportunity to work on projects at a strategic, tactical and operational level;
  • Develop and maintain long lasting relationships with senior client stakeholders, both during and outside of project delivery;
  • Design and deliver a strategy to enhance the Firms major relationships with our priority clients through risk analytics and Firm-wide value propositions; and
  • Work for the highest profile clients in TMT, both in the UK and overseas.
LocationYour office will be based in London, but most of your time will be spent on client sites. ResponsibilitiesRole responsibilities include:
  • Use and implementation of analytics technologies to deliver solutions and outcomes to our clients;
  • Taking responsibility for financial management on engagements and client deliverables
  • Supporting the development of client bids and the presentation of proposals
  • Contribute to Deloittes thought leadership in Risk Analytics
  • Delivering a portfolio of large and complex analytics engagements across our business
  • Providing risk analytics services to top tier clients
  • Building and developing long terms relationships with senior stakeholders across our client organisations
  • Act as a role model - help to develop and mentor junior resources
  • To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them
  • Have a clear understanding of the Firms commitment to creating a more inclusive culture.

Requirements
  • Operated in, or have experience of Information Management, Analytics and/or Data Science within the Telecoms, Media or Technology industry groups. This may be through a professional services firm.
  • Experience delivering services related to one or more core Information Management and Data Science domains:
  • Data Strategy
  • Data Architecture
  • Data Governance
  • Master Data Management
  • Big data
  • Visualisation
  • Analytical modelling
  • Artificial intelligence
  • Robotics
  • Leading engagements delivering, working with or knowledge of a range of tools such as:
  • Information management tools (for example, SQL, ETL, RDBMS);
  • Visualization tools (for example, Qlikview, Tableau);
  • Data science (for example, R, Python, Alteryx, SAS, SPSS);
  • Big data tools (for example, Hadoop, Spark); and
  • Cloud technologies (for example, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience of applying supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms to a variety of business problems and an understanding of which approaches are relevant in different scenarios
  • Strong delivery skills.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and in many different and challenging environments.
  • Strong planning, organisation and people management skills.
  • Experience developing, managing, strengthening and broadening key client relationships.
  • The ability to determine client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and in many different and challenging environments.
  • Experience in designing and implementing a strategy to grow an analytics business.
  • Experience in building a team to deliver a strategy.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, including being able to liaise with both technical and business contacts at our clients. Understanding of, and experience with, the development of solutions beyond the proof of concept stage into industrial-strength products.
  • Degree or relevant professional qualification and/or significant relevant consulting expertise.
  Additional Desirable Experience
  • Application experience of robotics and/or computer vision
  • Postgraduate degree in a scientific subject (Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Data Science, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent and/or relevant professional qualification and/or significant relevant consulting/industry expertise.
  • Understanding of Data Privacy considerations in the context of Information Management.
