Job Description

The Business

Join us in Manchester as a Project Manager
  • Take on a new challenge and be a part of our global Technology platform team, responsible for one of the largest contact centre services in the UK
  • In this high profile role you'll contribute to the long term sustainability of our telephony platforms, bringing to fruition the delivery of strategic technology outcomes that support customer experiences
  • As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for managing telephony projects based in our Manchester office, complemented by a global operating model
  • You'll be joining an agile and collaborative team culture, with a real commitment to professional development and flexible working options to explore

What you'll do

As Project Manager, you'll be running projects through our global Telephony platform team, which is responsible for maintaining and improving the contact centre service across our brands and to our customers, through highly available and cost effective technical services.

You'll also have a crucial part to play in maintaining a high quality live service, by coordinating the speedy resolution of issues highlighted by the teams directly supporting our customers. This will involve collaborating closely with a range of colleagues, including product owners, journey managers, release managers and developers.

As well as this, you'll be:

  • Collaborating and maintaining strong partnerships with senior stakeholders and colleagues to make sure that the technology agenda is supporting the business strategy and growth plans
  • Working within an agreed governance structure, and applying appropriate change techniques to direct and drive the telephony strategy and associated benefits
  • Providing specialist knowledge and capability to drive technology teams to shape and resolve technical issues
  • Making sure that team knowledge is up to date and is reflective of good practice

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone who's highly motivated and has experience of delivering large scale, telephony technology related projects in or with contact centres and telephony applications.

We'll also be looking for you to demonstrate:

  • A strong technology and business background, ideally from within the financial services industry
  • Solid experience of delivering end-to-end business and IT projects in the telephony and contact centre space
  • The ability to communicate, influence and engage effectively at a senior level and across a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills, in order to adeptly lead and motivate multi disciplinary teams to excellence

How we'll reward you

In return, we offer a competitive salary plus 30% cash and benefit funding programme that can be tailored to suit your individual needs. In addition, we provide a wide selection of exclusive lifestyle offers, development and learning programmes, services and support designed to help you manage and balance your work/life priorities.
