Position Overview:

Our organization currently uses Salesforce.com for sales and operations processes. We have an instance for our legacy business and are looking for an experienced admin to help deploy a new solution for a new and distinct area of our advertising business. There is no solution in place now and we need help launching and optimizing the new instance for this critical area. Initially, you will be the main point of contact for all things Salesforce.com as we continue to grow and evolve. This is a fast-growing area with significant priority for future success.

About you:

You are an experienced Salesforce.com admin. You have worked in the Salesforce environment for a number of years and understand the power of using Salesforce for sales, marketing, and services. You don't have to be a Salesforce 'fanperson' but you do stay up to date on the technical and business evolution of the platform and can speak to the benefits of specific features and functions. You are able to explain the value proposition of various CRM capabilities and you can neutrally propose a variety of solutions to a given business problem or opportunity. You can bridge business and technical with ease.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement and manage Salesforce integration strategies and strategic initiatives
  • Seek out ways to utilize Salesforce to improve processes, productivity and build scalable solutions
  • Create and run custom objects, fields, formulas, reports and dashboards
  • Perform regular data migration and management using Salesforce.com Data Loader
  • Design and optimize user interfaces using customized pages
  • Develop and maintain validation rules and custom workflow rules
  • Train users and orient them on how to use basic Salesforce.com functionality
  • Maintain currency with Salesforce development standard methodologies


Strengths you will need:
  • A strong partner focus and a capacity to collaborate with partners on building, fixing, and optimizing processes
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects at a time while driving for results for each
  • Strong demonstrated communication skills
  • Experience with technical consulting and bridging the gap between technology and business operations
  • Technical writing skills


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of Salesforce.com admin experience
  • Experience with sales and marketing operations
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Hospitality experience preferred
